Yes — the caves can only be visited on a guided tour, which lasts about 2 hours and covers around 3 km on foot, with many steps. Groups are capped in size.
Do tours sell out?

No — photography and filming are not permitted inside the caves, to protect the site and keep the tour flowing. You can photograph the dramatic collapse dolines outside.
How do I get to the caves?
The park is near Divača, about an hour by car from Ljubljana, Trieste or Koper. Divača train station is roughly 3 km away with a seasonal shuttle. Many visitors come on a day trip; we can help with a transfer.
